Safety and community guidelines

Before you book

• Read the whole listing and the person's profile. Look at their reviews and their badge — New, Rising or Top Rated.
• Ask questions in Chronorent. messages first. A good provider is happy to answer.
• ID verification and badges help, but they are not a guarantee about anyone's character.

Keep everything on Chronorent.

• Pay and message through the site. Your payment is only protected when it is held by Chronorent.
• Be wary of anyone who asks you to pay by bank transfer, gift cards or cryptocurrency, or to move the conversation to another app. Report them.
• Never share card details, passwords or ID documents in messages. Chronorent. will never ask for them by message or email.

Meeting in person

• Meet in a public place the first time, especially for companionship bookings.
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going, who with, and when you expect to be back.
• Trust your instincts. If you feel uncomfortable, leave — you can cancel or report a problem afterwards.
• For spaces and items, check the location and handover details carefully and, if possible, bring someone with you.

If something feels wrong

In an emergency call 999. For anything else, use Report this listing, report a problem on the booking, or contact us. We look into every report.

Not allowed on Chronorent.

• Sexual services or sexual content of any kind. Meet listings are for platonic companionship only, and every Meet listing must confirm this.
• Vehicles of any kind (cars, motorbikes, bikes with motors, and similar).
• Anything illegal, dangerous or that infringes someone else's rights — including weapons, drugs and counterfeit goods.
• Listings or messages that are misleading, fake, or use someone else's photos or identity.
• Harassment, hate, threats, discrimination or pressuring someone into anything.
• Taking payment or agreeing a booking outside Chronorent. to avoid fees or protections.
• Fake, paid-for or retaliatory reviews, or trying to manipulate badges.
• Spam, scams and collecting other people's personal data.

Meet listings

Sensitive activities such as "one-day boyfriend/girlfriend" and "+1 for social events" are only available to members who have completed ID verification, and are always platonic. Everyone using Meet must be 18 or over.

Be a good member

• Describe what you offer honestly and show real photos.
• Reply promptly, keep your commitments, and cancel as early as you can if plans change.
• Treat other people's property, space and time with respect.
• Keep reviews honest and about the service.

What happens if the rules are broken

We may reject or remove a listing, restrict messaging, cancel bookings and suspend or close an account. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities. You can report any listing from its page.
